In AISS, we have the mentoring programme where there is peer-to-peer tutoring.
Students (mentees) who are finding difficulty in some subjects are carefully matched with other students (mentors) who can provide the academic support.

Being a form of community service, mentors are given the target of conducting 5 hours of mentoring and both mentors and mentees stand to win prizes if the grades of mentees improve.
Students in the Duke of Edinburgh and JASS can use the hours for service.

Why do we do this?
1. To improve the camaraderie between students
2. To develop leadership skills (of mentors)
3. To improve the understanding of the subject matter of the mentors as well (the best way to learn is to teach)
4. To elevate the general academic performance of AISS.
