The IBDP framework nurtures well-rounded, knowledgeable, and principled learners. Students select six subjects from different disciplines, ensuring both depth and breadth in their education

Core Components

eyond subject mastery, the IBDP core develops critical thinking, research, and global engagement:


  • Theory of Knowledge (TOK): Encourages students to reflect on the nature of knowledge.


  • Extended Essay (EE): An independent, in-depth research paper on a topic of interest.


  • Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS): A programme that fosters personal and social development through experiential learning.



Subject Groups


Students select one subject from each group:


  1. Individuals & Societies
  2. Language & Literature
  3. Language Acquisition
  4. Mathematics
  5. Sciences
  6. The Arts or an additional subject from Groups 1–5
