Teaching and Learning Methodology
The approach to teaching and learning needs a dramatic paradigm shift. The learners of today have these characteristics: Impatient, Craving for Knowledge, Social Learners, Independent Learners, Easily Distracted, etc.
The term teaching method refers to the general principles, pedagogy and management strategies used for classroom instruction.
Students are not passive recipients of knowledge. Learning is a two-way process. Our teachers at Aspiration International School are given the liberty to design and carry out their lessons in the most engaging way.
Not all students learn in the same way. We recognise the multiple intelligence and have a varied approach to engage different types of learners.
Learning is a process of self-discovery. At Aspiration International School, our culture, curriculum, co-curricular activities and other special activities provide a fertile ground vast enough for different individuals to find their interests and excel in them.
Every learner needs some kind of academic or pastoral support. At Aspiration International School, we are all about support. Students in need of support can reach out to their teachers. The teachers’ room is designed in a way that is accessible. Students who are struggling academically will be assigned student-mentors and younger or newer students will be paired with a buddy.
