Junior Award Scheme For Schools (JASS)

As an esteemed institution, Aspiration International School is proud to be affiliated with the renowned Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) and Junior Award Scheme for Schools (JASS). These programs offer our students incredible opportunities for personal development, leadership, and adventure.

What is Junior Award Scheme for Schools (JASS)

The Junior Award Scheme for Schools (JASS) is a progressive award scheme designed specifically for younger students. It encourages personal development, engagement, and achievement through a variety of activities. At Aspiration International School, we are proud to offer our students the opportunity to participate in this exciting program.

The JASS program consists of four sections: My Interests, Get Active, Me and My World, and Adventure. Through these sections, students engage in activities that promote their personal interests, develop their physical fitness, raise awareness of global issues, and explore the outdoors. JASS encourages students to set goals, take initiative, and work collaboratively, fostering their personal growth and instilling a sense of responsibility.

At Aspiration International School, we believe that personal development is a journey that should be tailored to individual interests and abilities.

Here’s why our students choose JASS:

1. Personalized Development

JASS is a highly flexible program that allows students to design their own personal development journey. They choose activities they are passionate about, making it a deeply personal and rewarding experience.

2. Inclusivity

JASS is open to all students, regardless of their background, abilities, or interests. It celebrates diversity and encourages students to embrace their unique skills and talents.

3. Four Sections, One Goal

JASS comprises four key sections: My Interests, Get Active, Stay Safe, and Me and My World. These sections provide a well-rounded framework for personal growth, encouraging students to explore different aspects of their lives.

4. Reflective Learning

JASS places a strong emphasis on reflection. Students are encouraged to think deeply about their experiences, what they’ve learned, and how they’ve grown. This reflective process is a valuable skill that stays with them for life.

5. Achievement Recognition

Successful completion of JASS earns students Bronze, Silver, and Gold awards, showcasing their commitment to personal development and community service.

At Aspiration International School, we’re dedicated to nurturing well-rounded individuals who are prepared to excel in all aspects of their lives. The Junior Award Scheme for Schools (JASS) is an integral part of this commitment, and we invite you to join us on this exciting journey of personal growth and community engagement.

Discover your passions, embrace your interests, and make a positive impact on your world. JASS at AIS is not just an award; it’s a transformative experience that celebrates your uniqueness and empowers you to achieve your personal best.
